Complete carrier-neutrality
Carrier neutrality provides flexibility to work with multiple carriers providing better geographical spread for connecting customer branch location to the hosted location. Further redundancy can be built across multiple carries to ensure higher uptimes. Additionally, a carrier neutral facility can provide customers with maximum flexibility and redundancy within a deployed network, by integrating services from multiple third-party service providers. NetMagic is completely carrier neutral, with local loop and backbone infrastructure from MTNL, Reliance, Tata Power Broadband, Tata Teleservices, and various local ISPs providing wireline and wireless services. Our gateway connectivity too is spread out over multiple gateway service providers.
Redundant Power Supply
Power is the most crucial aspect of any Datacenter, and this is why NetMagic has ensured multiple levels of redundancy in its power provisioning. Redundancies include twin primary feeders, a high-load bank of diesel generators, best-of-breed Merlin Gerin UPS Systems and Battery banks, and PDUs (power distribution units), ensuring uninterrupted power supply even in the unlikely event of a sustained power failure.
Redundant Precision Air-conditioning
To ensure optimal cooling of the equipment housed within the Datacenter, NetMagic has deployed redundant precision air-conditioning systems that closely monitor and regulate the ambient temperature and relative humidity of the Datacenter.
The HVAC units are powered by both normal and emergency electrical systems. These units are monitored through the building automation system; the failure of any unit triggers an alarm.

Security and Surveillance
To ensure physical security of the Datacenter, NetMagic has put in place multiple levels of physical and electronic security and surveillance measures. These include 24x7 security personnel, Access card readers, Biometric Scanners, and video camera surveillance.
Fire Protection
Comprehensive fire prevention and mitigation procedures protect the NetMagic Datacenter from any possible fire hazards. These include state-of-the-art high-sensitivity smoke detectors, high-speed-deployment FM-200 Fire suppression gas, periodic Fire drills, and escalation mechanisms. FM-200 gas ensures that no damage occurs to the equipment in the event of a discharge.
Connectivity and Bandwidth
NetMagic's Internet bandwidth is provided via redundant fiber optic cable to ensure maximum uptime and availability. The Datacenter is provided with multiple redundant STM-1 rings totaling over 1 gbps, from multiple local-loop providers for maximum redundancy.
Capped and burstable bandwidth solutions, comprehensive peering arrangements with other ISPs, and being one of the first ISPs in the country to connect to the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) ensure that NetMagic offers the best connectivity options to all our customers.

NetMagic's Racks have been custom-designed by APW, and are designed using high strength aluminum. These racks are designed to house server and networking equipment. Customers have the option of per-server solutions (1U, 2U, 3U, etc.), or Quarter, Half, or Full Rack Solutions.
NetMagic Rack products are closed racks designed with Quarter, Half and Full Rack (12U, 18U, and 42U respectively) compartments where individual customers can host their servers and additional networking equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc. Each compartment comes with its own proprietary lock and key ensuring 100% security to the customer.

NetMagic Cage Hosting Solutions have been created keeping in mind the requirements of clients whose hosting or collocation requirements surpass standard Rack-based options. NetMagic cages are designed with open racks in mind. Each cage has its own proprietary lock and key ensuring 100% security to the customer. Full cages are the equivalent of 4 standard NetMagic Full Racks (168 U combined total space, plus alleys), whereas Half Cages are the equivalent of 2 standard NetMagic Full Racks (84 U combined total space, plus alleys).
Basic Monitoring is provided by default with all rack and cage products. This service is passive in nature and does not generate any network traffic. NetMagic's world-class NOC (Network operations Center), utilizing IBM's Tivoli, in conjunction with premier CRM tools such as 'Remedy', checks for the server response at the Network level at specified intervals as part of the optional Advanced Monitoring Service.

NetMagic uses a variety of tools to provide Advanced Monitoring Services to customers. Advanced Monitoring Services are crucial to any enterprise with mission-critical online applications. NetMagic's Advanced Monitoring Services provide our customers with Failure and Pre-failure Notification, Threshold Alarms, and Statistical Trend-analyses.
NetMagic uses world-class technologies and tools to ensure a high-performance, reliable Advanced Monitoring services, including IBM's Tivoli Monitoring Suite, Nagios, and various SNMP tools, such as the ubiquitous MRTG.
The NetMagic NOC, manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week comprises of support staff, call analysts and senior technical staff. This dedicated group of people monitor all critical parameters related to the performance of the network and the servers hosted at the customer's location over dedicated connections to the Internet.
