# Customers can either opt for volume based plan (GB per month) or rate based plan (Mbps). In both the cases, bandwidth aggregation shall take place at the firewall. Following section, briefly describes the same:
- Volume based or data transfer plans: Best suited for customers with fairly predictable and low data volume this can be from 10 GB to 500 GB per month.
- Bandwidth aggregation done at firewall.
- Fixed monthly billing.
- Rate based on Mbps plans: These plans are best suited for bandwidth hungry applications. This bandwidth plan makes a techno-commercial sense only when there is very high amount of data transmission in and out of the virtual machine.
- Capped Mbps Plan:
- Dedicated bandwidth with no burstability beyond subscribed port speed. For example: 1 Mbps, 2 Mbps, 4 Mbps and so on, available in increments of 1 Mbps.
- Bandwidth aggregation at firewall.
- Fixed monthly billing.
- Uncapped Mbps Plan:
- Dedicated bandwidth with burstability on best effort basis.
- Bandwidth aggregation at firewall.
- Fixed monthly billing on 95th percentile model.
