Sales Engineering Manager

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales support and develop solution architecture based on customer requirement
- Should be able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Should be able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
- Document, communicate and ensure compliance with solution architecture and design
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills with comfort in delivering presentations to groups
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities to meet business goals
- Identify, research, evaluate, recommend and develop new technology. Evaluates emerging technologies and make recommendations on their viability
Secondary Responsibilities
- Experience in pre-sales support and develop solutions for enterprise customers.
- Good understanding on product sales processes and experience in working with Sales and Product Team.
- Should have excellent communication skills, technical knowledge specialized in Storages from various vendors like EMC, Hitachi, Netapps, HP or IBM and Virtualization (VMware, Xen or MS Hyper-V), working knowledge of Data Centre environment.
- Preference for candidates who have been involved in designing ERP solutions for various customers on multiple platforms.
- Desirable knowledge and experience in designing Network Architecture (LAN/WAN) and Server Architecture.
