Started in 1998, Total Logistics is a full service transportation and logistics service provider with diversified experience in all aspects of international logistics and transportation. Headquartered in Mumbai, the company handles containerized cargo (LCL/FCL), project cargo, RO/RO cargo, break bulk cargo, and oversize or overweight cargo. Total Logistics specializes in shipments for transportation equipment, agricultural equipment and machinery, as well as for any other general heavy equipment and machinery (for both manufacturers and building contractors). The Company maintains a network of warehouse facilities at strategic locations near major ports. The company initially hosted its internet servers internally, but with instances of downtime occurring often, Total Logistics sought a managed hosting option. Did that solve the problem? Total Logistics had more than a thousand PCs interconnected with each other and supported by a hosted data server. The company had an 18-member strong IT team that developed and managed its home grown packages including shipping, transport accounting, logistics accounting and inventory solutions.
