Viva Infomedia was founded in January 2001 and initially offered customized sales leads and direct marketing solutions. It later diversified its operations into SMS solutions and Interactive Media, promoting services, products, events etc through their innovative marketing initiatives. The fast growing sector meant increased business load which could not be handled by the company’s dedicated server. There were also scalability issues with the server not being able to cope with peak time traffic of SMS transactions, especially on weekends. Viva Infomedia’s FMS business relies heavily on timely transactions and so there is zero tolerance for latency issues. Hence, the company decided that it was time to opt for a cloud computing option.
